Courtesan au Chocolat just like in Grand Budapest Hotel
The latest Wes Anderson’s movie ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’ right now enjoys a great success in our cinemas. Meanwhile foodies, who during the screening focused their attention on an amazing pastry – the Courtesan au Chocolat – can now make it themselves!
As we see in the movie, the pastry comes from the Mendl’s patisserie, while in reality this sweet puff tower was made by Anemone Muller – a confectioner from Gorlitz, where the movie was shot. The director, who believed that this pastry was one of the most important elements of the production, took a huge part in creating it’s look himself.
