Bułkę przez Bibułkę – Sandwiches are not boring anymore
At the beginning of one of the longest street of Warsaw – Puławska, in-between the oldschool tenement houses and shops of any kind, there is Bułkę Przez Bibułkę – bistro serving mostly sandwiches. Although many may say that there can’t be anything special in it, owners of the place prove them wrong!
The place is most worthy of visit for breakfast or brunch. Cozy, well-lit interior, decorated with numerous cute odds and sods plus smiley staff makes a perfect combination making you feel like you belong here, no matter if you are by yourself or with friends. On top of it, the place is children-friendly, providing kids with many attractions.
There are eight breakfast choices in the menu. We can wander to a Sweet Paris with the choice of breads, croissant along with, home-made jam, lavender honey and a chocolate cream (10 PLN), have nutritious whole grain muesli with yogurt and fresh fruits (10 PLN) or traditional Breakfast Soft Way consisting of soft-boiled eggs, baguette and veggies (15 PLN).
If you are more of a starveling we recommend you trying the sandwiches. They are all prepared with a big crunchy ciabatta-type bread, served warm. We can choose from 5 different offers. We decided on Juliusz C. – the one with grilled chicken, bacon, parmesan cheese and home-made sauce, accompanied with mini beetroot salad ( 14,90 PLN) and The Italian Job with prosciutto, sun-dried tomatoes, parmesan cheese and rocket salad (16.90 PLN). Nothing compares to something like this, especially when flashed with some fine wine!
Besides all the above, there are some salads on the menu (17,90PLN each), and the soup, that is freshly made every day (9 PLN). For those with the sweet tooth, you can have French Macarons (3 PLN), Chocolate Éclair (7 PLN), home-made cake (10 PLN) or Cherry Meringue (12 PLN). We can’t help ourselves anytime there is a meringue on the menu, and yet the one from Bułkę przez Bibułkę got really high notes on out private ranking! This is the place totally worth coming back to.
