Steven Kolb- president of CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) organization, which includes more than four hundred top designers, has previously held senior positions in a number of organizations and foundations, significantly contributing to the promotion of American fashion industry. He revives the spirit of positive rivalry by regular promotion of contest for young American artists. He is not afraid to criticize even by the First Lady of The USA, when she appeared in creations of British designers.
He explained to the media why it is so important to promote young  designers on a global scale. In his opinion, today for many designers the only way to develop activity is becoming part of the international markets. In the same He underlines that in the United States there’s not such an increase in the fashion industry. Kolbs says, that
every time there is possibility to show the important events of American projects, it is worth doing. American
